Calls for a meeting to discuss HUAC attacks on the Joint Anti-Fascist Refugee Committee. The leadership of the Committee was held in contempt of Congress in 1946 after they refused to comply with subpoenas from HUAC. They sued in 1948, and the case eventually went to the Supreme Court, which upheld their convictions.
