San Francisco: California Voice, 1984. Newspaper. 24p., folded tabloid newspaper, photos, art, ads, articles, news, reviews, services and resources, events and opinion, very good on newsprint. Part two of Hardman's "From Modesty to Persecution" Carl Driver reviews "Fortune and Men's Eyes" at SF State. Announcement on reat page concerning the paper's Superior Court win declaring it a newspaper of general circulation which the publishers claim that the Voice is the first gay paper in the US authorized to run legal advertising. California Voice was founded in 1979 and merged in 1983 with the San Francisco Vector.
