About This Item
8vo, simulated reptilian boards, beveled edges, lettered in gilt, [4], 26 pp. Slight edgewear and rubbing, some browning and aging; otherwise very good plus. A very nice copy. This title serves as a dairy of Chard's one-month trip from Chicago to California. Chard describes many of his stops along the way, including Portland, Oregon, San Francisco (mentions a trip to Chinatown in San Francisco), Santa Cruz, and San Diego.
