DJ has light edge wear and rubbing. Front end papers have a map from the story; rear end papers show robed folks in moonlit landscape. Pages are clean and tight, this is a new book. Every page has a glorious color drawing, delightfully bringing to life the text. This is the story of the Gibblins, who live in the Three Counties, ruled over by the ruthless Lord Mulciber. They wish to restore their usurped king to his throne, but this can only be done when the legendary gemstone "The Malbigon" is restored to its rightful place. Really wonderful tale that takes place in an imaginatively creative land, where the Gibblins have their own customs, alphabet and calendar. There is a bookmark, with the key to the alphabet, attached by a ribbon to the book, the last page is a fold-out map. ; Color Illustrations; Folio ; 43 pages .
