Slightly smaller book, light green cloth badly faded to brown at top with tiny spots elsewhere, large brown spot near top back tip, bright gilt design at top front, black lettering and gilt lettering very fine on spine, owner's emboss at top of first front end paper, 170 lightly browned pages. DJ glossy green to front and spine with illustration of couple kissing on front, praise on white back from Martin Seymour-Smith in The Financial Times, Anita Brookner in The Standard, Valentine Cunningham in The Observer. DJ creased at top front and near top back tip. Very Good DJ/Near Good book.
