Illustrated by Cruikshank, George. 2 volumes complete; From private collection, embossed blue Hard covers ; Gilt to spine clear but dulled; quite legible. Hinges intact. Yellow endpapers intact in vol 2 ; Free endsheets removed from vol 1; Ink name in both vol endpapers. Hinges sound; Both volumes have identical spine leans. Each measure 4 3/4 x 7 1/4 inches; vol 1 has 322 pages, vol 2 has 316 pages, complete. Advertisements of other books at the back of volume 1. Engraved title page and frontispiece in both volumes by Cruikshank. Each are smudged, darkened and apparently of different paper than very clean and bright text. Covers are moderately soiled . Spine ends show some wear. INterior pages clean and sturdy. Pictures available upon request. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 21483 Professional bookseller for twenty years.
