Near Fine. 4to. 29cm, 130p., No.1526 of a limited edition of 1950 copies, 3 facsimile title-pages with vignettes, 56 plates (12 in colour), quarter green linen backed illustrated boards, in slip-casewith printed label, spine lightly sunned, (stamping clear), else both are very good to fine (spg) ~ An abridged text reprint of the original three volumes published 1830 to 1834. Illustrations by Charles Wilson Peale and Thomas Doughty. With an Introduction giving a history and significance of the book by Wilson G. Duprey.
