Chicago: John F. Waite, 1893. Published 1893. Externally worn copy of this large format world atlas (13.5" x 11.5") containing dozens of maps printed in full color. Brown cloth lettered in black and tarnished gilt, 250 pages, about half of which is an extensive chronology and index. Covers heavily worn and soiled, spine ends chipped, hinges cracked but covers attached, text block sound with no loosened pages, pages moderately age-toned in the margins but clean, small old dampstain to the lower right cover through several pages, not affected printed area.. Hard Cover. Fair. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
