Antwerp, Officina Plantinian Balthasaris Moreti, 1667", pp.84, (xiii, Index etc), woodcut engraving to both title-pages, pages tanned, bound in half-leather with leather titled spine label, light cracking along centre of spine. Very good condition. 17th century edition of 'Tacitus', a Roman historian and politician. Edited by the Flemish humanist, philologist and philosopher, Justus Lipsius (Joest Lips). First published in Antwerp by Plantin-Moretus,1574. Half leather.
