Jay Bernard is a pseudonym for Raymond Harold Sawkins (aka Colin Forbes). Hardcover has maroon cloth-covered boards with copper spine lettering. Covers have decoration of three black dashed horizontal lines on spine which continue to front cover and form three black solid lines that end in arrows. Dark yellow endpapers. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends lightly bumped. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Spine slightly faded. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. 180 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
