First published in 1856, this is a charming collection of seven works by the author of 'Vanity Fair', W. M. Thackeray.Illustrated with a frontispiece and seven plates, alongside numerous vignette illustrations. These illustrations are the work of both Thackeray himself, and Richard Doyle. Collated, complete.With the bookplate of D.B. Anderson to the front free endpaper.Rebound in a lovely half calf. Rebound in half calf, with marbled paper covered boards. Endpapers renewed. Externally, fine. Bookplate to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned, with significant handling marks throughout, and instances of light spotting. Very Good Indeed
