Contemporary gilt-tooled calf, contrasting black morocco lettering-piece, A.E.G. Lightly rubbed. Marbled endpapers, bookplate of Allston A. Kisby to FEP, inked ownership inscription to front blank fly-leaf, scattered foxing. The first edition of Edward Augustus Kendall's (1775/6-1842) children's novel narrated by a robin, who discourses on natural history and other improving topics. . First edition. 8vo.
