About This Item

In fine unread condition. Easton Press books are bound in the United States. Includes a collector's certificate of authenticity.

When describing himself as a child, Turow states that he was "dreamy with little inner discipline." His mother's writing aspirations inspired him from a young age and Turow pursued a fellowship in writing that brought him into the company of Raymond Carver, Richard Price, Alice Hoffman, Chuck Kinder, April Smith and Michael Rogers. As a lawyer, he worked for Dentons law firm, where he won the release of Alejandro Hernandez, who spent over a decade on death row for a murder he did not commit. He's stated that "Burden of Proof" was heavily influenced by the writer Saul Bellow and John Updike's "Rabbit Run". His most recent titles are "The Last Trial" and "Suspect
