About This Item
London: Collins, 1934. Book. Illus. by Jackson, A. E.. Very Good. Hardback. First Edition. 8vo. A very scarce title - according to Copac no libraries in the UK have a copy. And this copy with the original jacket too. Not dated but gift inscription dated xmas 1934. Unpaginated, 8 plates in colour after A. E. Jackson, Warwick Goble and others; b/w in-text illustrations. Dust jacket with colour on-lay to the front board, good with a little general wear and some rubbing to edges, lightly chipped/stained to head/tail of the spine, not price-clipped, now attractively presented in a loose-fitting clear archival sleeve. Original blue cloth hard-back binding with gilt lettering and gilt vignette of a knight, very good and bright with a small light stain to the head of the spine. Contents clean and tight. A very good copy with a good dust jacket..
