New York: Quinn Pub. Handi-Book Mysteries, 1942. 143p., 4.5x6.25 inches, very good pocket-book in stapled red pictorial wraps. Introduces 200 pound hungry-man detective Simon Crole. In 1943 this was republished as "Murder Comes to Dinner" in a hardcover edition. The Handi-Book series offered extremely cheap editions (fifteen cents) of new mysteries.
