Pp. xviii, 261, 48 fine tipped-in color plates reproducing in six-color offset from the 48 stone-plate lithographs by J.G. Keulemans. One-quarter black cloth over textured blue-gray cloth boards with a gilt bird on the upper third of the cover, marbled endpapers, color pictorial dust jacket, folio (14 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches). This volume contains all of the color plates from the 1888 edition of Bullers Birds of New Zealand. Small call number of the International Crane Foundation on the spine of the dust jacket, plain pocket on the rear endpaper and name stamp Ron Sauey Memorial Library on rear endpaper and top page edge, no other institutional marks to the text or cloth binding. Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin.
