New York: Broadway Publishing Co., 1910. First Edition ?. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Good to VG condition. C. 1910 by author, assume First Edition- no further notations on copyright page. Hardcover/ no DJ, 221 pages, rough- cut side & bottom edge to text block, 8 x 5 1/2"". Photo frontis (w/ tissue protector intact) & 15 plates in text (verified)- incl. line drawings & b/w photos- all firmly & completely attached. I went through this book twice & could find no evidence of any more illus. being present or removed. Red cloth binding tight & square- shows light rubbing, bit of soil. Small 1/2"" x 1/4"" nick at top of spine. Gold gilt lettering intact & legible. Overall, copy displays very well. Front & rear pastedown endpapers show a little scraped away on side edge- minor. Only a hint of toning to text; tight, clean, unmarked. NO hinge splits or cracks, NOT ex library. Handsome, well preserved copy.
