Book is divided into sections: Part One- Europe Discovers a New World, Part Two- The Founding of French Canada, Part Three- British North America In a Changing Empire, Part Four- A Half Century of Pioneer Expansion, Part Five- The Dominion in the Making, Part Six- Canada in the British Commonwealth and the War. 473 pp.plus Index. Decorative ep's show b/w iconic map of Canada. Book has lightly rubbed spine ends, no notations or inscriptions of any kind. Plain brown paper, unclipped (15/' net, on spine) DJ has red text on front and spine as well as stylized red maple leaf on front, front panel is detatched and spine has 1" closed horizontal tear. Rare in this issuance on this side of the pond, and in beautiful condition. Bookseller's Inventory # 110683.
