George Newnes, London, No date. Third Edition (as per spine). Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Illustrated. Editors' foreword and indexes. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white line drawings, plans and black-and-white photographs. Also included in the text are black-and-white advertisements. Red coloured textured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Red coloured tint to all text block edges. The book has been produced with rounded edges. Red coloured place marker  which has been truncated to approximately 1.5 ". No easily found publication date, but given the book's production and photographs / illustrations probably from the 1960s. A book for the builder, decorator (painter etc.) on building inspection, decorating, roofing, walls, hot water supply etc. Each section has been written by various experts. Rubbing to the book edges and the top book corners are somewhat bumped. Rubbing and dust marks to the book panels and there is age toning and foxing of the pages. The foxing is quite notable to the first few and last few pages of the book. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], V - XVIII, then each section is individually paginated,.
