Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1937. Second printing. Hardcover. Fair/No jacket. 493 pages. Civil War novel set in Richmond, Virginia. Tan cloth binding with red titles and star borders on front cover and spine, maps of Richmond on end papers. Cover stained, worn and soiled, edge wear corners and spine ends bumped, dings in top edges of a few pages, hinges a little weak, former owner's name "Paulina S. Winfield, Broadway, Virginia" on half title, interior pages bright with some stains and a little waved by dampness, binding tight.
