About This Item
George H. Doran Company. Fair in Good dust jacket. 1917. Hardcover. Green cloth spine, gray boards, spine label, TEG. Early edition. This was Hobart Van Zandt Bosworth's copy, given to him by Van Loan. Bosworth's bookplate is on the fep. Bosworth further inscribed the ffep to Freddie Fralick, and apparently gave this to him. Bosworth was an American film actor, director, writer, and producer. Fralick was a crew person and actor. Author Van Loan dedicated this book to Bosworth, and there is a typed letter tipped into the CP from Van Loan to Bosworth. The hinges are cracked and the front cover is darkened. There are numerous margin notes about the film production, apparently by Van Loan. The DJ is chipped and toned at spine, with interior tape repairs. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author .
