These books are considered classics in telling the history of the Civil War. The books are paperback with photo covers, and are illustrated. The slip cover is in VG or better condition. It has some shelf wear, especially at the corners, but is intact and all pictures and text are unblemished. The three books appear unread and are in Fine or better condition. For a student of history or a collector this is one of the nicest ways to get the trilogy possible without searching for early edition hardcovers.
