About This Item
Edinburgh: The Friends of Edinburgh University Library, 1995. 8vo, pp. 17. Original illustrated stiff paper wrappers, lettered in red to front panel. A fine copy. First edition SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. LATER HANDWRITTEN NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR LAID IN: 'Graham, A few for your collection -- + perhaps you may amuse yourself for 5 minutes with this pamphlet. Barry. 19 ii 96'. A fine copy of this affectionate reminiscence. Laid in is a later note from Bloomfield, written on the reverse of a flyer for the Wye Book Fair, held in October 1993 and organised by Bloomfield's wife Valerie. The note, written in 1996, seems to have accompanied a batch of the pamphlets Bloomfield sent to a collector.
