About This Item

Harrisville, [New York, 1938. Unbound. Near Fine. Large broadside. Measuring 14.5" x 21.5" . Thick white paperstock printed in black. Old crease, else very near fine. Also details other events including a bicycle race, egg race, three-legged race, a band concert, a supper, and others. Harrisville is a small hamlet in northern New York state. We could find a reference to Jimmie's Roving Ramblers in a 1944 newspaper advertisement, but our guess is that this is a few years earlier. We assume they played some version of country dance music. *OCLC* locates no copies.
