Sherwood, Gilbert and Piper, 1827. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1827. No Edition Remarks. 329 pages. No dust jacket. Modern red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Book has been rebound and also has new endpapers. The third book (Morus). Small in-text engraving to title page and first page of text. Pages are heavily, variably tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Rough cut pages. Binding remains firm. A few small edge tears to a few pages. Some pages are slightly smaller than others, apparently intentionally. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Minor sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor wear marks to boards.
