NY: Cupples & Leon. A rare collection of b&w comic strips by George McManus, from 1919 - 1927 which were originally syndicated to newspapers around the country. The pictorial covers are softened with age, edge worn, have creases and a little soil. Pages have light foxing throughout and front free end paper was mended with acid-free tape. Still, quite hard to find. OUT OF PRINT, collectible. . Good+. Hardcover. First Edition. 1926.
