About This Item

Text is clean and unmarked in a bright, tight, and square binding Volume appears unused. Only defect is some age toning on the outer edge of the text block. DJ has two chips on the front and some light smudging on the back. Back DJ also has a small, closed tear on the bottom edge. From the front DJ, "Bridges are a symbol of progress more than any other structure built by man. The science of bridge building extends back to the very beginning of civilization, and much can be learned about the march of human events by studying the tremendous variety of bridges built across the centuries."
