Green cloth hardcover; dustjacket; orange top-stain, 342pp. Tight, clean, Near Fine copy in original dustwrapper, unclipped (priced $2.75 on front flap); a trifle rubbed at extremities but still Near Fine. Embossed bookseller's label to half-title ("Rorey's Books, Hagerstown, MD"). Sarton's second novel, set in her native Belgium between the wars.
