Octavo, original cloth boards with blindstamped decoration and gilt lettering, embossed lettering upper board "Weale's Rudimentary Series 252", b&w illus, index, pp 120 plus 40 pp publisher's ads. Further publisher's ads on endpapers. Original paper title label restored and laid down over spine. Internal hinge starting, some fading to boards, some foxing. Previous owner's inscription, dated 1890. Good condition. Technical and practical guide to various types of brickwork, with 91 woodcut illustrations.
