Bound in original publisher's green cloth binding, front board lettered in gilt with blind rules at top and tail, spine lettered in gilt with gilt rules.iv,157pp. with a section of XXIV plates containing 37 illustrations. FIRST EDITION. AUTHOR'S PRESENTATION COPY with 'with the author's compliments' to head of half-title. Very minor wear to extremities, else a very good copy.
