About This Item

New York: Bantam Books, 1984. Mass Market Paperback. Good Plus to Very Good. A collection of 10 short stories featuring Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie, who knows right from wrong and will make sure you know too, even if it means from the business ends of his .44s. Paperback original, first Bantam paperback edition, first printing. Abourt 4 1/8 x 6 7/8 inches, 218 pages including a "Special Letter from Louis L'Amour" at the end of the book, and non-fiction historical notes relating to the stories following several of the stories. Pictorial wrappers show a man in black hat pointing a large revolver off the front cover. An ad for novel, "Jubal Sackett," in hardcover on inside back cover. Wrappers show very slight spine lean, reading crease on spine, other light surface creasing. No tears, no scratching or chipping. Text edges very lightly soiled, o/w text is complete, clean and unmarked. A decent copy of an '80s book that is becoming increasingly scarce in the first edition.
