About This Item
New York, NY, U.S.A.: Kensington Publishing Corporation, 1983. Mass Market Paperback. Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Rare war book. Trained to be deadly. Bill McLeane handpicked them: A sniper, a demoltions expert, a walking encyclopedia and martial arts expert, and the last of the 4 was street-smart, smart talking and unstoppable. Putting the team together was the easy part; what they were supposed to do was almost impossible. McLeane's Rangers got the job of getting onto an island held by the Japanese which was housing a huge ammo dump, blow the dump and get away. But there was a surprise for the Rangers - a POW camp! 254 pages. Some rubbing on top & bottom & edges of spine and some lighter rubbing on some places on outside edges. On the front cover the right side 1/2" of the outside edge has moisture damage. I couldn't tell from the outside but I could see it on the inside. It really doesn't effect the book accept for seeing the stain on the inside..
