About This Item
Toronto, New York: Little, Brown and Co., 1970. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Very Good cloth first edition (stated) with silver lettering on spine and Good DJ in brand new Brodart protective mylar cover. Lettering is slightly faded but still clear. Sun fading to top and bottom of spine, creating a distinct line that runs parallel to boards. Binding is straight and tight, all corners sharp, no markings, creases, or tears. DJ looks excellent in mylar cover but in fact has a 5 inch closed tear from bottom of spine that arcs up into the cover and considerable chipping and wear at bottom and top of spine. Not ex lib, not clipped, no remainder marks. Notes, bibliography, index. 404 pages.
