An interesting study of the Borneo people, a small island in Southeast Asia, including chapters on the Land Dayaks, the Ibans, the Kayans and Kenyahs, the Melanaus, Malays and Chinese, and more. Written by the Right Honourable Malcolm MacDonald. The first edition of this work. Illustrated with forty-four illustrations from photographs and a drawing by the author. Collated and complete.Containing a previous owner's small ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. In the publisher's original cloth binding, Externally, very smart, with some light shelf wear and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Slight darkening to the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart, with some sunning to the front of the wrap and spine. Some light chipping and a few small closed tears to the exteriors. A few spots to the rear of the wrap. Containing a previous owner's small ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
