This classic account of the writer's visit to Borneo just around the time of independence includes history, ethnography and anecdote all written in an entertaining style. The book includes 44 black and white illustrations of the country and the people whom the author met. The 424 pages are divided into six parts, i.e. 1 - The Country, 2 - The Land Dayaks, 3 - The Ibans, 4 - The Kayans and Kenyahs, 5 - The Melanaus, Malays and Chinese and 6 - Envoi. Very Good Hardback in a Good Dust Jacket. First Canadian Edition. Weight 1kg. Post free within Malaysia The dust jacket is a bit ragged around the edges. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is very mild tanning of the pages.
