Light wear to corner tips and spine ends. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has some wear to the corners and light soil to the panels. The spine is darkened. A collection of speeches and essays by the founder of the Macmillan Children's Book Department, to mark the company's fiftieth anniversary. Many of them first appeared in the The Horn Book Magazine. .
