A presentation copy with a full-page inscription from Henry Miller (signed "Henry") to poet and translator Hugh [Chisholm], who is listed in Appendix III as one who supplied Miller with Books. A small dampstain at the lower left corner of the front free endpaper slightly affects one word of the inscription (not the signature).
