garden city: doubleday, page and co., 1912. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. author. This is the extremely rare first edition 1912 date on copyright and title page. Green cloth covers with antlered caribou on front cover and bobcat on spine. 567 pages. Book has modest wear to corners and wear and small split top of spine with mild crease on front edge of spine. Small tears at bottom of spine also. The first two front end pages and the last end page have been taped in at the gutter with white paper strips glued in. Still an intact and good looking copy of an very hard to find book.
