About This Item
London: Andrew Melrose, 1906. Hardcover. Very Good. Publisher's original red hardback with gilt lettering to the upper cover and spine, which are also showing gilt medal vignettes. Very well preserved: firm and square, sharp corners, strong hinges. Contents tight and clean. No pen-marks, no inscriptions. Not from a library so no such stamps or labels. Size: 200mm x 135mm; collation: pp. xii, 294, complete with a frontispiece and 11 other full-page illustrative plates, and a further 6 pages of publisher adverts at the rear. Thus a very good copy indeed.
