Profusely illustrated with facsimilies of wood blocks, engravings, title pages, printer's marks, embellished lettering etc as expected. First Edition 1937 signed by the author in blue ink to the front free end paper. Good no d/j (Book- moderate shelf wear and soiling to boards, significant browning and spotting to paste downs with some transfer to free end papers, author insc. and signature as above, boards a little floppy and front end paper starting, but binding generally sound with no other notable defects).
