London: Religious Tract Society no date but clearly mid-19th century, blue embossed cloth decorated in gilt on spine and front board, inner paper hinges starting to crack, lacks presumed frontispiece (tissue guard is present, guarding nothing), numerous illustrations throughout text, which is clean and tight. Nice little book about marine life, 284 pages plus publisher's catalogue, targeted at younger readers. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. New Edition.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
