London: Printed for C. & J. Rivington, 1829. The Fourteenth Edition. Hardcover. vg. Sm 8vo. 110,[2]pp. Blind-stamped paper-covered boards with gold lining on spine. Early 19th century work for children by English theologian William Jones of Nayland (1726-1800) on the relation of God's creatures and nature to the Bible. Age wear, scuffing and staining on binding. Head and tail of spine chipped. Name of previous owner "Leonard Francis Etham" on front- and rear endpapers, & blank page preceding title. Foxing on endpapers. Minor worming on last 4 leaves, affecting 8 words in text slightly, otherwise in overall very good condition. Scarce 1829 edition.
