London: The Golden Cockerel Press, 1937. Printed, with an introduction by Llewelyn Powys and twelve etchings by Elizabeth Corsellis. Pp. 88 (last colophon), printed in red & black, 12 full page etchings (one for each month of the year); super roy. 4to; bound by Zaehnsdorf in red morocco, spine lettered in gilt and with small gilt cockerel device between raised bands, the upper board slightly scuffed; t.e.g., others uncut; dentelles ruled in red; book label of David Levine, Sydney, on upper pastedown above an earlier armorial bookplate (Peter Dangar), the upper free endpaper a trifle foxed, illustrations all faintly offset; The Golden Cockerel Press, London, 1937. Edition limited to 300 copies; this being one of 55 numbered copies, on specially watermarked Batchelor hand-made paper, signed by the artist and with an extra set of the plates contained in a pocket on the lower pastedown. Pertelote 118. *The watermark for the paper was designed by Elizabeth Corsellis.
