Scarce. Stated 1st American Edition. Complete in one volume. "The Book of Curiosities Containing Ten Thousand Wonders and Curiosities of Nature and Art; and of Remarkable and Astonishing Places, Beings, Animals, Customs, Experiments, Phenomena, etc., of both Ancient and Modern Times, on all Parts of the Globe: comprising Authentic Accounts of the most Wonderful Freaks of Nature and Arts of Man." All pages are present and all text is present (some pages have edge tearing). Book is in Fair condition, with spine taped, cover boards worn, hinges broken, front hinge reinforced with masking tape, rear hinge hanging on by threads. Notes written in front endpapers. Couple of pages have become detached and were reattached with masking tape. Some dampstains here and there. Foxing throughout.
