Henshaw, formerly Chief United States Biological Survey: How Birds Can Take Their Own Portraits, by Hon. George Shiras, 3rd.: Encouraging Birds Around The Home, by Frederick H. Kennard: Our Greatest Travelers -- Migratory Birds, by Wells W. Cooke: The World Record for Feathered Friends, and Bird Banding, the Telltale of Migratory Flight, by Dr. E.W. Nelson, of the United States Biological Survey. Color Plates from Paintings from Life by Louis Agassiz Fuertes." Book is full of clippings and newspaper articles collected by my Grandfather. There is even a small page called "Audubon Daily Field Card of Birds Occurring in the Central United States (from the Mississippi River through the Great Plains to the Rocky Mountains)" tucked in at page 13 along with a list of the Audubon Bird Leaflets available for ten cents in the mid 1950s. Five pages of color photos from another publication inserted at page 110. Well used. Wear to cover at hinges. Spine is separated at title page, but not completely loose. Family heirloom copy. Previous owner's name inside front and back of book. Our listing number 1060.
