New York: Clover Books, 1955. Hardcover. acceptable. Pictorial covers, no dust jacket as issued. Corners are bumped, with cardboard showing through; pages are tanning. Prior owner's name on first page. Clover books, published by McLoughlin Bros., undated except for copyright date but probably late 1950s, 210 pages. 12mo (5"" x 7.5"") #8 in the Bomba series, originally published in 1929 by Cupples & Leon. Dated to the later 1950s because McLoughlin Bros. became a subsidiary of Grosset and Dunlap in 1954, and this book uses the Grosset and Dunlap cover art from their 1950s reissue.
