About This Item
London: Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1955. First British Edition. Very Good/Very Good. First British edition, and first hardcover edition. Signed by Jack Finney and inscribed to a previous owner on the title page. Very Good, light bowing to boards, light soiling to cloth, pages toned and with foxing to the textblock edge, prelims and terminals. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket, with creases and wear, evidence of sticker removal to spine and bottom of rear panel. The chilling horror novel about an invasion of a small California town by seeds that drifted there from space. Filmed four times under the title Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
