About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1936. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Grey tween paper over boards with blue lettering and decorations, pictorial dust jacket. 218pp. Frontispiece, decorated endpapers. Near fine/very good. Mild jacket edgewear; ownership signature on front flyleaf and on jacket's front flap and rear panel. A tight and attractive much later printing of volume 29 in the popular 72-volume "Bobbsey Twins" series, begun in 1904 and concluded in 1979. Front jacket flap lists up to series' 49th title (published 1954 -- thus approximately dating this edition). A lovely copy in snazzy jacket.
