It is volume 59 in the series. 8vo size pictorial hardcover; 177 pages with green topstain and a few black and white illustrations. Two sets of male/female fraternal twins, Bert and Nan and Freddie and Flossie, are the principal characters in this series created by the Stratemeyer Syndicate and written under the pen name of Laura Lee Hope. The original series ran for 72 books, published between 1904 and 1979. "No matter where they go, the Bobbsey twins are bound to run into mystery and excitement, and Egypt is no exception. Actually, the camel adventure starts in Italy where the Bobbseys, their friends... and yes, their old enemy have arrived in Venice. Mr. Abdel Gouda, a wealthy Egyptian gentleman, has a priceless little antique horse to donate to the Lakeport Museum if the children and the leaders of their European tour will come to Cairo to receive it." Edgewear, bumped head and heel of spine, bumped and worn corners, small tear to top of book, scrape on back cover, penciled prices on fep and small spot on bottom of book and light soil to covers. There is a small spot on the bottom of the front cover and pages up until page one. . Pictorial Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
