Octavo, 286pp. Blue hardcover, title in red on spine. The first printing, with a full number line on copyright page. Light rubbing to boards, solid text block. In the publisher's near fine dust jacket, retail price on front flap, light shelf wear, bright illustrations. This copy is signed on the front free endpaper: "Best Wishes to the Krause's / Bob Knight." Bobby Knight is a former college basketball coach, holding three NCAA Championships, eleven Big Ten Conference Championships, and an Olympic gold medal as the coach of the 1984 USA Men's Basketball Team. He retired with the most wins of any coach in NCAA Division I basketball history, but has since been surpassed by three coaches. He was the head coach of the Army Black Knights from 1965-1971, the Indiana Hoosiers from 1971-2000, and finally the Texas Tech Red Raiders from 2001-2008. He is now retired from basketball coaching.
